New measures taken at LiUB – reduced opening hours and 3-day loan period of course reference copies

**Detta blogginlägg är även tillgängligt på svenska**

The corona pandemic is still here and we have to continuously adapt our operations depending on the present situation with Covid-19. Please note that it is only permitted to be physically present on university premises (including libraries) if this is necessary.

Recommendations in force at LiU

Right now, Linköping University Library is open only for quick errands such as borrowing and returning books, printing and copying and not available as a place for study.

We temporarily extend the loan period for the course reference copies to 3 days.

From December 21, 2020 to August 15, 2021, the library will not charge fines or send new invoices. You are thus not forced to come to the library if your only errand is returning a library book. Existing fine charges are still valid. Special rules apply to interlibrary loans. It goes without saying that we expect you to return books if you are able.

These measures are in force until August 15. Please check this blog for updates.

Please check the web for our current opening hours. An overview of opening hours during summer is available at Summer hours at the Library 2021
