New measures taken at LiUB – reduced opening hours and 3-day loan period of course reference copies

**Detta blogginlägg är även tillgängligt på svenska**

The corona pandemic is still here and we have to continuously adapt our operations depending on the present situation with Covid-19. Right now, the library is not the meeting place we want it to be, but please be patient and try to keep up the good mood.

We understand your frustration when the library is not open as much as usual. Our opening hours are now adapted for quick errands, so it’s a good idea to place reservations on books you want to borrow ahead of your visit.

Search for the book you want to borrow and make a reservation. Await the e-mail that will tell you when the book is available for pick-up. You can then pick the book up during the opening hours.

Starting Thursday 5 November, we temporarily extend the loan period for the course reference copies to 3 days. But even if you can keep reference copies longer than usual, please note that an overdue fine will be enforced if you do not return them in time.

These measures are in force until December 18, but can be prolonged. Please check this blog for updates.

Opening hours varies at LiU libraries. Please check the web.
