The corona pandemic is still here and we have to continuously adapt our operations depending on the present situation with Covid-19. Please note that it is only permitted to be physically present on university premises (including libraries) if this is necessary.
From 21 December, there are stricter measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Read more: LiU tightens Corona restrictions
Linköping University Library is only available for borrowing and returning books, printing and copying. The library is not a study place right now. If you need help from the library please use our virtual services such as the Library’s virtual enquiry desk (open Monday – Friday 10-12 am), chat or e-mail.
We temporarily extend the loan period for the course reference copies to 3 days.
From December 21st to March 28th 2021, the library will not charge fines or send new invoices. You are thus not forced to come to the library if your only errand is returning a library book. Existing fine charges are still valid. Special rules apply to interlibrary loans. It goes without saying that we expect you to return books if you are able.
These measures are in force until March 28 but can be prolonged. Please check this blog for updates.
